Have we got Everything or Nothing??

Our society and people have become very materialistic in this day and age. People think Happiness is all about how luxurious life we live; big cars, nice flat, fat bank balance, couple of branded accessories and dresses etc. But are we really Happy and have everything??
This is the question that strikes my mind often. Sometimes, when I look at other peoples’ life (who has more luxury than I do!) I seriously do wish if I was in their shoes. However, when I get to know them more, I feel that they are bit t lost emotionally. They have proper goals and objectives in life, but emotionally they tend to have some limitation. Celebrities can be the most ideal example, these people with name and fame portraits themselves to be very happy with all the facilities they have, party every night, tagged clothes etc. But are they really Happy??? We tend to imitate them in every aspect and start comparing our lives with theirs (feeling sad about our life!) thinking they have happy and content life than us. However, when we read about their personal life from break ups to debts almost everything ,we are drawn back for a while ; ”hey wait a minute, aren’t they suppose to be happy and have no normal problems as we have because they have everything in life one can imagine!!”.
So, what is Happiness?? Is it the materialistic definition that we have created to make our life much simpler?? People today are very conscientious and intellectual; we worship time and money thinking that it will pay off well in form of happiness and satisfaction. If this is the real happiness then, why do we get sad and upset when the people we love forget to give us a good night hug?? Or forget to ring us??Or forget our birthday cards or anniversary cards?? And if emotions matter in peoples’ life along with other materialistic elements, then why do we give more importance to materialistic elements more than our personal values??I know of a man who is very rich and have all those so called “happiness “but he is an alcoholic and gets stoned most of the time. When he is sober he is good as a gold but once he passes out, people do not even turn their back to him, He always claimed that he has everything and is very happy but I really wonder how does he feel when he is all by himself in that big house of his ??.
If we think that we have everything and are happy just because we have all these materialistic things, then, why do we moan about other things?? Do we really have everything in life Or we are just not satisfied yet with what we have?

Chocolate Freak!!

I finally got a title that dragged my attention in a fraction of Second, Chocalte!! My staple diet, (that is what my mum and nan says).I can live on chocolate and can eat in 24X7.
Recently, i read this article on one of my free newspaper (Evening Standard)about low fat chocolate which contains 60% water but taste the same as the regular one. In this bar of water chocolate, the water is hidden inside oil droplets and is a mixture of water particles and crystal of cocoa butter . I am not really very interested in the details until and unless it taste the same!! It is the new research done by University of Birmingham specially for the chocoalte freaks but yet health conscious people. After all it is always only an individual who cna look after their beautiful body!!!!!They are also developing low fat mayonaise with 5% fat and porridge that would keep you full until 5-6 hours, that would be a quiet nice idea in this credit crunch season and it would also help people to reamin in their perfect shape and size!!

The only thing i can say is Keep up the good research and come of with all new ideas where we can enjoy our food to the fullest and not worry about putting on weight! This will not only help to remain fit but would also help people to concentrate more on their works , for a change!!!!!!
